The route from Lucerne train station to the Richard Wagner Museum is generally accessible for wheelchair users. Please note, however, that there is a noticeable incline at the end of the route.
Alternatively, you can take bus 7 or 8 to the Wartegg stop. From there, a mostly accessible path with no major inclines leads to the museum.
Access to the museum itself is limited: nine steps lead to the entrance area. A sturdy handrail is available.
The area in front of the museum has a gravel surface. The accessible exhibition rooms have parquet flooring, stone tiles, or low-pile carpet suitable for wheelchair access.
An accessible outdoor restroom is available.
The permanent exhibition on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Seating is available throughout the exhibition rooms.
The special exhibition on the first floor is accessible only by stairs. Access requires climbing approximately 20 steps.
